The DNC Registry allows individuals to register their Singapore telephone number(s) to opt-out of unsolicited telemarketing voice calls, text messages and fax messages. Organisations that wish to contact individuals for unsolicited telemarketing via voice calls, text messages and fax messages are required under the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”) to check against the Registry before contacting the individual unless explicit consent has been obtained or if an exemption or exclusion under the PDPA applies.
