Housing & Development Board (HDB) rental market statistics in this collection publish quarterly median rents by town and flat type from 2005 through March 2023. The CSV Median Rent By Town And Flat Type draws on self-declared rents in renting-out-of-flat applications, with medians suppressed when fewer than 20 transactions occur in a quarter. Housing economists and tenants’ groups can track public housing subletting price trends while heeding HDB’s rounding and disclosure rules in the official notes. The series supports affordability analysis for HDB lessees who sublet within policy.
