Monthly Motor Vehicle Population Statistics by Type of Fuel Used
Land Transport Authority (LTA) publishes monthly motor vehicle population in Singapore by fuel type from 2016 through early 2020, excluding road-tax-exempt vehicles. The CSV supports analysis of petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric uptake as Singapore transitions its land transport fleet. Transport modellers and environmental reporters can chart month-on-month shifts without scraping LTA press releases. The series complements LTA’s broader vehicle registration open data.
Official description
All vehicles registered (excluding road tax exempted vehicles) and used on the roads by fuel type.
Land Transport Authority CSV of Singapore motor vehicle population by vehicle category and fuel type from January 2016 through January 2020. Columns cover month, vehicle category, fuel type, and number; tax-exempt and off-the-road (RU plate) vehicles are excluded. Clean-mobility analysts track petrol, diesel, electric, and hybrid fleet mix (series M09).
