PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, documents NEWater tariff information in this collection for the 2018 through 2021 coverage window. The official description explains that water tariffs recover collection, treatment, and distribution costs charged on consumption, while the CSV NEWater Tariff provides the published tariff series. Utilities economists and household researchers can study recycled water pricing alongside other PUB tariff collections on Data.gov.sg. Tariff tables reflect PUB’s published schedules rather than individual bill calculations.
Official description
The water tariff covers the costs incurred in the various stages of the water production process. This includes collection of rainwater, treatment of raw water and distribution of treated water to customers through an extensive network of water pipes throughout Singapore. The Water Tariff is charged based on the amount of water consumed.
