People’s Association (PA) publishes annual counts of members in PA interest groups across Singapore’s community engagement programmes. Two CSV datasets split 2014–2016 and 2017–2020 reporting windows for continuity after methodology or collection changes. Grassroots researchers and civic analysts can study volunteer participation trends by interest-group type. The data supports understanding how PA channels resident involvement in hobbies, skills, and neighbourhood activities.
Official description
Number of Members in People's Association Interest Groups by Type, Annual
People's Association CSV for 2014–2016 reporting annual membership counts by type of interest group. Community planners and social researchers measure grassroots participation in PA interest groups across Singapore neighbourhoods during those years.
People's Association annual count of members in its interest groups across Singapore, covering 2017 to 2020. Each row records the year, the type of interest group, and the number of members, showing how participation is spread across activity categories and how membership moved over the four years, including into 2020 when group activities were affected by COVID-19 restrictions. Community development researchers, grassroots leaders, and social policy analysts use the figures to gauge the reach of PA's interest groups as a channel for social participation and neighbourhood bonding.
