Percentage of O-Level Cohort that Progressed to Post-Secondary Education
Ministry of Education (MOE) reports the percentage of each O-Level cohort entering post-secondary education in Singapore from 2008 through 2021. The CSV dataset mirrors MOE’s broad definition covering JCs, polytechnics, ITE, arts schools, private institutions, and students who leave the country, with notes on preliminary years and 2021 private-admission gaps. Pathway researchers can compare O-Level progression with N-Level and A-Level collections. This annual series supports open-data analysis of secondary-to-post-secondary transitions after O-Level.

Notes:
1) Figures for 2017 - 2021 are preliminary as students from the same cohort could be admitted to post-secondary education institutions later. Data for 2021 may be under-estimates as the admission data for 2022 into private education institutions is not available yet.
2) Figures include participation in Junior Colleges, Millennia Institute, Polytechnics, Institute of Technical Education (ITE), LASALLE College of the Arts, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and other private education institutions, and take into account of students who have left the country. From 2015 onwards, figures also include participation in Privately-Funded Schools and Foreign System Schools.
