The term "ASEAN" stands for "Association of South East Asian Nations" and refers to the
ten-country political association comprising Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Laos,
Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. However, when used in the statistical table, the term excludes Singapore.
Scandinavia comprises Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
