Description
Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth CSV showing the proportion of Singapore charities by income-size band for financial years ending in 2013 (published against calendar year 2014). Income size is based on annual receipts from statutory annual returns. Nonprofit analysts use it to profile the size structure of the charity sector.
Official description
Income size is based on annual receipts. Figures are computed based on the annual returns submitted for financial years ending in 2013. It is a regulatory requirement for charities to submit their annual returns within 6 months of the close of their financial year. The financial periods of charities may vary, depending on the operational needs of the organisations.
