Average Monthly Household Income Among Resident Households by Household Living Arrangement and Income Quintile (Household Expenditure Survey 2017/18)

Description

Household Expenditure Survey 2017/18 table giving average monthly household income in dollars among Singapore resident households, by household living arrangement and income quintile. Columns provide a total plus the five quintiles from the 1st–20th through the 81st–100th percentile groups, while rows set out living arrangements. Income figures include employer CPF contributions. Social policy researchers use the table to compare income levels across household types at each point of the distribution, and to see which living arrangements are concentrated in the lower quintiles — useful context for transfers, subsidies, and inequality analysis.
