Broadband Usage Amongst Enterprises by Employment Size

Description

Published by the Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA), this dataset reports broadband usage among enterprises in Singapore broken down by employment size, covering the years 2012 to 2016. Each record pairs a year and an employment-size band with the corresponding broadband usage figure, so users can compare how widely smaller firms and larger employers had adopted broadband connectivity. The long-form layout makes it easy to pivot into a separate time series for each firm-size group or to chart the adoption gap between them. It supports research on Singapore's digital economy, SME technology adoption and the enterprise side of the digital divide during the mid-2010s.
