Description

This dataset shows the distribution of Singapore charities by annual income size, based on annual returns for financial years ending in 2013. It records each income band and the corresponding proportion of charities. The data provides a snapshot of the charity sector's financial scale, while reporting periods may differ among organisations.

Official description

Income size is based on annual receipts. Figures are computed based on the annual returns submitted for financial years ending in 2013. It is a regulatory requirement for charities to submit their annual returns within 6 months of the close of their financial year. The financial periods of charities may vary, depending on the operational needs of the organisations.
