Forward And Backward Linkages (Supply, Use and Input-Output Tables 2016)
Description
Forward and backward linkage coefficients for each industry from Singapore's Supply, Use and Input-Output Tables 2016, published by the Singapore Department of Statistics. Across 105 rows the table pairs each industry with its forward linkage, a supply-oriented measure of dependence on purchases by downstream industries, and its backward linkage, a demand-oriented measure of dependence on production by upstream industries. Economists use the coefficients to identify key sectors and map inter-industry dependency in the Singapore economy. Adapted from SingStat TableBuilder CT/17301.
