Annual counts of resident households receiving assistance under ComCare schemes, compiled by the Singapore Department of Statistics from Ministry of Social and Family Development data. Policy researchers can track social assistance uptake from 2019 onward.

Source: MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AND FAMILY DEVELOPMENT Data Last Updated: 02/03/2026 Update Frequency: Annual Footnotes: Data refer to households that have received assistance under the respective ComCare Schemes within the respective calendar year. Household comprises all immediate family members (i.e., parents, spouse, siblings, and children (biological, adopted as indicated in adoption certificate, or step)) residing at the same address. Not all household members are necessarily beneficiaries. For instance, a household may contain estranged but financially self-reliant members, who are not contributing financially to the needs of the family.
