Monthly infant deaths in Singapore by ethnic group and sex from 1960 through March 2026, from the Registry of Births and Deaths via SingStat. Counts are by date of registration; pre-1989 figures exclude certain non-locally domiciled service personnel and families. Public-health and demography analysts track infant mortality trends. Figures are based on date of registration. Prior to 1989, deaths of non-locally domiciled services personnel (including foreign based civilians employed by the services) and their families were excluded. Figures for 2026 are preliminary.
