Installed Capacity of Grid-Connected Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems by User Type
Description
Energy Market Authority CSV of installed capacity of grid-connected solar photovoltaic systems in Singapore by user type, from 2008 to the first quarter of 2021. Each row gives the year, residential status, user type, and installed capacity in both MWp and MWac. Renewable energy analysts track solar adoption across residential and non-residential segments, with more recent statistics published on the EMA website.

Note: a. Data for 2021 is as at 1Q 2021. Historical values have been revised with the incorporation of new information on de-commissioned installations and reclassification of installations. b. Figures may not add up to the totals due to rounding. c. MWp refers to megawatt peak, which is a typical measure of the installed nameplate capacity for solar PV systems. MWp represents the amount of electric power that can be produced by a solar PV system at its peak under Standard Test Conditions (STC). d. MWac refers to the Alternating Current (ac) capacity of the inverters used in solar PV installations.
