Pre-2003 figures exclude trade with Indonesia; classification shifts from SITC 3 before 1999 to SITC 4.1 thereafter. Trade economists monitor section-level import and export cycles. Data prior to 1999 are based on Standard International Trade Classification (SITC) 3.
