Annual counts of schools in Singapore by education level, school type, and URA planning region, published by the Singapore Department of Statistics with MOE as source for 2023–2025. Footnotes cover government, government-aided, independent, specialised, and mixed-level schools. Useful for education capacity planning, spatial distribution of school types, and regional schooling infrastructure analysis.

Source: MINISTRY OF EDUCATION Data Last Updated: 23/06/2026 Update Frequency: Annual Footnotes: 1. Include Government, Government-aided, Independent and Specialised Independent and Specialised schools. 2. Mixed Level schools comprise primary & secondary schools (P1-S4/5) and secondary & junior college schools (S1-JC2). Mixed Level schools are classified by type according to their secondary sections. For example, if the secondary section is an Independent school and its primary section is Government-aided, the school will be reflected in the table above as an Independent Mixed Level school. 3.
