Resident Households by Household Structure and Number of Working Persons in Household (General Household Survey 2015)
Description
General Household Survey 2015 counts, in thousands, of Singapore resident households by household structure cross-tabulated with the number of working persons in the household. Columns run from households with no working person through one, two, three, and four or more working persons, alongside the total. The table shows how employment participation within households varies by family structure. Social-policy researchers use it to study household earning capacity, dependency, and the prevalence of households without any working member at the 2015 benchmark.
