Counts cover retail residential connections at or above 256 kbit/s over xDSL, leased line, and fibre; cable-modem broadband ceased from 2020. Telecom analysts track wired broadband uptake in homes. Data include all retail residential wired broadband subscriptions (i.e., for connection speeds equal to, or greater than, 256 kbit/s, in one or both directions) provided over xDSL, leased line and optical fibre.
