Teachers In Schools - Length of Service

Description

Ministry of Education CSV time series from 1987 through 2024 on teachers in Singapore schools by sex, school level, length-of-service bands, and headcount. MOE notes that service length resets on re-appointment or re-employment. Workforce planners analyse teacher retention and experience profiles.

Official description

(1) Length of Service is calculated based on officers' latest employment episode (i.e., for officers who are re-appointed/re-employed, their length of service is zeroised and calculated based on the date of their re-appointment/re-employment).
