Age-standardised incidence rate and prevalence rate for definitive dialysis and transplant patients

Health Promotion Board publishes annual statistics on age-standardised incidence and prevalence of definitive dialysis and kidney transplant patients in Singapore. Rates are expressed per million residential population and standardised to the Segi World Population for international comparability. The CSV collection supports epidemiologists and health planners tracking chronic kidney disease burden over the catalogued years. Official notes indicate figures are refreshed annually as retrospective case ascertainment continues.

Official description

The table/figure shows the age-standardised incidence rate (per 1,000,000 population) and prevalence rate (per 1,000,000 population) of definitive dialysis patients and transplant patients in Singapore. The rates are expressed as per 1,000,000 residential population and standardised to the Segi World Population. The numbers will be updated annually due to ongoing retrospective case collection.

Age-standardised incidence rate and prevalence rate for definitive dialysis and transplant

Age-standardised incidence rate (ASIR) and prevalence rate (ASPR) for definitive dialysis and kidney transplant in Singapore from 1999 through 2016, published by the Health Promotion Board in CSV format. Records are organised by year and patient type, with separate ASIR and ASPR values so trends in new cases and in the treated population can be read side by side. Age standardisation makes the figures comparable over time despite a changing population age structure. Nephrologists, health policy analysts, and researchers use the series to study end-stage kidney disease burden and renal replacement therapy demand.
