Historical Pollutant Standards Index (PSI)

National Environment Agency (NEA) publishes year-by-year CSV open data on Singapore’s historical Pollutant Standards Index (PSI), with timestamps in Singapore Time (SGT) using ISO 8601 formatting. The collection spans 2016 through 2024 as separate annual datasets, supporting trend analysis of haze and air-quality episodes across the island. Researchers comparing PSI with meteorology or health studies should note the official disclaimer: records may be incomplete and are not subject to the same quality control as certified climate products. For formal climate reports, NEA directs enquiries to its climate sales contact.

Official description

CSV

Historical Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) (2024)

This dataset contains Singapore’s historical Pollutant Standards Index observations for 2024, with timestamps in Singapore Time using ISO 8601. Fields cover regional locations and coordinates, 24-hour PM10 and PM2.5, ozone, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, pollutant sub-indices, and three-hour or 24-hour PSI. It supports retrospective air-quality and regional pollution analysis, but records may be missing and have not undergone the quality-control process used for official climate records.

Historical Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) (2023)

National Environment Agency historical Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) readings for Singapore throughout 2023, with ISO 8601 timestamps in Singapore Time. Columns cover regional PM10, PM2.5, O3, CO, SO2, and NO2 concentrations and sub-indices, plus 24-hour and 3-hour PSI values by region. Environmental researchers reconstruct 2023 haze and air-quality episodes; the file may contain gaps and is not quality-controlled climate data.

Historical Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) (2022)

National Environment Agency CSV of historical Pollutant Standards Index readings across Singapore for the full 2022 calendar year. SGT timestamped records contain regional PM10, PM2.5, ozone, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide measures, pollutant sub-indices, and 24-hour and three-hour PSI values. Environmental and public-health researchers can reconstruct haze and air-quality episodes, while accounting for possible missing records and the absence of official climate-data quality control.

Historical Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) (2019)

National Environment Agency CSV of historical Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) readings for Singapore covering the whole of 2019. Each record carries an ISO 8601 timestamp in Singapore Time, the reporting region with its coordinates, 24-hour and three-hour PSI values, and the underlying sub-indices for PM10, PM2.5, ozone, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide. Air quality and haze researchers use it for time-series and regional comparisons, noting that records may be incomplete and are not quality-controlled climate data.
