Source: NATIONAL PARKS BOARD Data Last Updated: 28/04/2026 Update Frequency: Annual Footnotes: Singapore does not have legally protected marine areas. However, the 40ha Sisters' Islands Marine Park is designated for the conservation of marine biodiversity. In addition, extensive surveys and research are conducted to enhance marine habitats and enrich biodiversity in Singapore's coastal and marine areas. Data are used for SDG 14.5.1 'Coverage of protected areas in relation to marine areas'.
