Electoral Boundary 2006 (GEOJSON)
Description
Elections Department GeoJSON boundaries of Singapore's electoral divisions, also called constituencies, as demarcated for the 2006 elections. Electoral divisions are areas set out in law by the Prime Minister for the purposes of Parliamentary and Presidential elections, and this layer captures the constituency configuration of that period. Political researchers, journalists, and GIS analysts use it to map historical constituency geography, compare boundary changes across election cycles, and join election results to spatial units. Overlaying the divisions with planning-area and population data also supports demographic analysis of the electorate.
