Description
Annual imports of energy products into Singapore from 2005 through 2020, published by the Energy Market Authority in CSV with values in thousand tonnes of oil equivalent (ktoe). Rows distinguish energy products and sub-products, with trade statistics from Enterprise Singapore and gas or biomass flows from EMA returns aligned to IEA product classes. Energy planners study fuel supply security and import mix for Singapore’s power and industrial sectors.

Notes: a. Numbers may not add up to the totals due to rounding. b. All data are compiled from Enterprise Singapore's trade statistics except Natural Gas, Other Energy Products and biomass trade data, which are compiled from EMA's administrative returns. c. Enterprise Singapore releases trade data in mass units. EMA releases similar data in energy units (ktoe). d. The product classification of energy products aligns with International Energy Agency's (IEA) classification and may differ from that used for trade statistics. e. Biomass trade recorded is for energy use only. Notations: - nil, negligible or not applicable
