Annual counts of active employers in Singapore from 2004 through 2025 from the CPF Board via SingStat. Definition shifts in 1Q 2025 from employers who paid CPF for the previous month to UEN-registered employers liable for current-month contributions. Labour-market analysts track employer base size. With effect from 1Q 2025, active employers refer to registered employers (identified by their Unique Entity Number) who are liable to pay CPF contributions for the current month.
