Official description

* The MRT network was extended to link Yishun and Chua Chu Kang with the Woodlands Extension in 1996. * Bukit Panjang LRT started operation in 1999. * Changi Airport Line commenced operation in 2002. * North East Line (NEL) and Sengkang LRT opened for service in 2003. * Punggol LRT opened for service in Jan 2005. * Boon Lay Extension and Circle Line (CCL) Stage 3 opened for service in Feb and May 2009 respectively. * CCL Stages 1 & 2 opened for service in Apr 2010. * CCL Stages 4 & 5 opened for service in Oct 2011. * Downtown Line (DTL) Stage 1 opened for service in Dec 2013. * North-South Line Extension opened for service in Nov 2014.
