Resident Households by Household Size, Marital Status and Sex of Head of Household (General Household Survey 2015)
Description
General Household Survey 2015 counts, in thousands, of Singapore resident households by household size cross-tabulated with the marital status and sex of the head of household. Columns cover single, married, widowed, and divorced or separated heads, each split into total, male, and female. The table shows how household size varies with the marital circumstances of the household head at the 2015 benchmark. Demographers and social-policy analysts use it to study one-person households, lone parenthood, and female-headed households in Singapore. Adapted from SingStat TableBuilder CT/8257.
