Pupils Per Teacher in Primary And Secondary Schools

Ministry of Education (MOE) open data tracks the pupil–teacher ratio (PTR) for Singapore primary and secondary schools from 1981 through 2021. Separate CSV datasets cover primary schools and secondary schools, where secondary figures aggregate students and staff across government, government-aided, independent, and specialised school types. Analysts use PTR to discuss class sizes, staffing levels, and education resourcing over decades. The annual series supports longitudinal comparison of how many pupils each teacher serves in each school sector.
