Number of active claimants under ElderShield, Annual
Description
Central Provident Fund Board CSV of the number of active claimants under ElderShield in Singapore as at the end of each year from 2022 through 2025. Active claimants are members receiving monthly payouts under the severe-disability insurance scheme. Read together with the annual claims amount, the series shows how many people are drawing on ElderShield support at a point in time. Long-term-care planners and researchers use it to track demand for disability care in an ageing population.
