Number of claims made under Home Protection Scheme, Annual
Description
Central Provident Fund Board CSV recording the annual number of claims made under the Home Protection Scheme (HPS), the mortgage-reducing insurance that covers HDB flat owners servicing housing loans. Each of the 40 rows gives a calendar year, the ground of claim, and the number of claims, with claims split between death and incapacity grounds and coverage running from 2006 to 2025. Counts are based on claims approved during the year, while figures before 2013 are based on claims paid. The series supports analysis of HPS payout frequency and household mortgage-protection risk in Singapore.
