Description
Census of Population 2000 table from the Singapore Department of Statistics counting residents aged 15 and over by age group, religion, and sex. Columns cover no religion, Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Catholic and other Christian denominations, and other religions, each with male, female, and total counts. Sociologists of religion and demographers use the table as a benchmark for how religious affiliation was distributed across age cohorts in Singapore at the turn of the century.
