SportSG DUS Sport Facilities

Description

This Sport Singapore dataset maps sport facilities under the agency's Dual Use Scheme (DUS), which opens selected school sports facilities to the wider community outside curriculum hours. It is distributed as GeoJSON, so each facility is a geographic feature that can be displayed on a web map or loaded into GIS tools such as QGIS and ArcGIS without conversion. The spatial format makes it straightforward to study how evenly community sport amenities are spread across Singapore's towns and how far residents live from the nearest court, field or hall. Planners, researchers and app developers use it for accessibility analysis, facility-booking services and active-lifestyle programme planning.
