Yearly amount of base interest credited to CPF members
Description
Yearly amounts of base interest credited to CPF members' accounts in Singapore from 2006 through 2025, published by the Central Provident Fund Board. Interest is computed monthly, compounded, and credited yearly, with each row giving a year and the amount rounded to the nearest hundred thousand dollars. Because the series covers base interest, it reflects the floor returns credited on member balances rather than total interest including additional rates. Analysts use it to gauge the guaranteed returns the CPF system pays out each year and to relate interest credited to the growth of member balances and retirement adequacy.
