Master Plan 2025 Region Boundary (No Sea)
Description
This GeoJSON layer provides indicative region-boundary polygons from Singapore's Master Plan 2025 with sea areas excluded. URA uses regions and planning areas to organise medium-term land-use planning, while noting that planning boundaries may not match existing development on the ground. The dataset can support regional mapping, spatial aggregation and planning analysis, but its indicative boundaries should not be treated as cadastral or legal property limits.
Official description
Indicative polygon of region boundary with sea area excluded. To facilitate urban planning, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) divides Singapore into regions and planning areas. The Master Plan is a forward looking guiding plan for Singapore's development in the medium term over the next 10 to 15 years and the planning boundaries may not coincide with existing developments for some areas.
