HDB Elderly and Future Elderly Resident Population by Flat Type

Description

Housing & Development Board table showing how Singapore's elderly and future elderly HDB resident population is distributed across flat types, covering survey years from 2003 to 2018. Each row records the survey (SHS) year, the elderly or future elderly population group, the flat type such as smaller or larger HDB units, and the percentage of that group living in it. Because the values are shares rather than headcounts, the data is best read as a housing profile of ageing residents. Planners, gerontology researchers, and ageing-in-place policy analysts use it to see which flat types older Singaporeans occupy and how that mix has shifted over fifteen years.
