Description

Annual job vacancy rate series for Singapore from 1998 through 2025 in MOM CSV, aggregating Labour Market Survey definitions of vacancies relative to manpower demand. Complements quarterly series for long-run labour market tightness analysis.

Official description

Job Vacancy Rate for a quarter is defined as the total number of job vacancies divided by the total demand for manpower at the end of the quarter. Source: Labour Market Survey, Manpower Research & Statistics Department, MOM Before 2006, data pertain to private sector establishments (each with at least 25 employees). From 2006 onwards, it also includes the public sector.
