Ministry of Manpower annual CSV from 1998 through 2025 of Singapore job vacancy rates by industry, where the rate equals vacancies divided by total manpower demand at quarter-end per the Labour Market Survey. Private-sector coverage expands to include the public sector from 2006. Hiring analysts compare tightness across industries.
Official description
Job Vacancy Rate for a quarter is defined as the total number of job vacancies divided by the total demand for manpower at the end of the quarter. Source: Labour Market Survey, Manpower Research & Statistics Department, MOM Before 2006, data pertain to private sector establishments (each with at least 25 employees). From 2006 onwards, it also includes the public sector.
