Description
Ministry of Manpower quarterly job vacancy rates by occupation in CSV from 1998 through 2025, defined as vacancies divided by total manpower demand per the Labour Market Survey. Labour economists compare hiring tightness across occupations and public-private coverage from 2006.
Official description
Job Vacancy Rate for a quarter is defined as the total number of job vacancies divided by the total demand for manpower at the end of the quarter. Source: Labour Market Survey, Manpower Research & Statistics Department, MOM Before 2006, data pertain to private sector establishments (each with at least 25 employees). From 2006 onwards, it also includes the public sector.
