Job Vacancy Rate - Quarterly
Description
Quarterly job vacancy rate time series for Singapore from 1998 through 2025, published by the Ministry of Manpower in CSV. The rate equals job vacancies divided by total manpower demand at quarter-end per the Labour Market Survey. Analysts track hiring tightness, labour market cycles, and public-versus-private sector coverage changes from 2006.
Official description
Job Vacancy Rate for a quarter is defined as the total number of job vacancies divided by the total demand for manpower at the end of the quarter. Source: Labour Market Survey, Manpower Research & Statistics Department, MOM Before 2006, data pertain to private sector establishments (each with at least 25 employees). From 2006 onwards, it also includes the public sector.
