Description

Ministry of Manpower Labour Market Survey CSV of Singapore's seasonally adjusted job vacancy to unemployed person ratio, quarterly from 1998 through 2025. A ratio above one signals more vacancies than jobseekers, indicating a tight labour market. Coverage spans private establishments with at least 25 employees and, from 2006, the public sector. Labour economists use it as a gauge of hiring demand versus unemployment across economic cycles.

Data are seasonally adjusted. Source: Labour Market Survey, Manpower Research & Statistics Department, MOM Before 2006, data pertain to private sector establishments (each with at least 25 employees). From 2006 onwards, it also includes the public sector.
