Description
Ministry of Manpower quarterly CSV of retrenched term-contract employees by industry in Singapore from 1998 through 2025. Retrenchment here means early termination of term contracts for redundancy. Pre-2006 coverage is private establishments with at least 25 employees; from 2006 the public sector is included. Labour analysts pinpoint which industries shed contract staff each quarter.

Retrenchment of Term Contract Employees refers to early termination of term contract employees due to redundancy. Source: Labour Market Survey, Manpower Research & Statistics Department, MOM Before 2006, data pertain to private sector establishments (each with at least 25 employees). From 2006 onwards, it also includes the public sector.
