Number of Sold and Rented HDB Residential Units
Description
Housing & Development Board CSV from financial year 2006/07 through 2024/25 on counts of sold and rented public housing units by property type, category, and flat type. Sales are counted when keys are issued; rental covers the Public Rental Scheme. Housing researchers compare new supply, rental stock, and flat-type mix across Singapore’s HDB programmes.
Official description
Flats are considered sold only when keys are issued to the applicants. These flats would thus comprise flats booked in the reported financial year and those booked in previous financial years which were under construction. Prior to FY2011, data excludes studio apartments and keys issued by private developers under the Design, Build and Sell Scheme. Data on rental flats refers to flats under the Public Rental Scheme.
