Description
Ministry of Manpower annual average number of unemployed Singapore citizens from 1992 through 2025 from the Labour Force Survey (with census/GHS benchmarks for selected mid-year points). Labour economists track citizen unemployment levels over time.
Official description
Data refer to the annual average number of unemployed Singapore citizens. Annual figures are the simple averages of unemployment figures obtained at more frequent intervals in the year. Source: Labour Force Survey, Manpower Research & Statistics Department, MOM, except data for June 1995, June 2000 and June 2005, which are from the Population Census 2000, General Household Surveys 1995 & 2005 conducted by the Singapore Department of Statistics.
