Description

Ministry of Manpower annual CSV from 1992 through 2025 on Singapore’s overall unemployment rate by residential status. Figures are simple averages of more frequent readings within each year, with June 1995, 2000, and 2005 sourced from census and General Household Survey benchmarks. Labour economists track macro labour-market slack in Singapore.

Data refer to the annual average overall unemployment rate. Annual figures are the simple averages of unemployment figures obtained at more frequent intervals in the year. Source: Labour Force Survey, Manpower Research & Statistics Department, MOM, except data for June 1995, June 2000 and June 2005, which are from the Population Census 2000, General Household Surveys 1995 & 2005 conducted by the Singapore Department of Statistics.
