Incidence of Retrenchment by Occupation - Annual
Description
The Ministry of Manpower publishes annual retrenchment incidence rates by occupation for Singapore, measuring retrenched employees per 1,000 workers. The series distinguishes redundancy-related separations for permanent and term contract staff and extends back before 2006 with methodology notes for the private sector. Labour economists and HR analysts use it to track sectoral vulnerability during downturns and recovery periods.
