Industrial Stoppages
Description
Ministry of Manpower series recording the total number of industrial stoppages in Singapore each year from 2005 to 2024. The table is deliberately simple, with one row per year giving the count of stoppages, which covers work interruptions arising from industrial disputes such as strikes and lock-outs. Singapore's tripartite industrial relations framework means stoppages are rare, so the series is most useful as a long-run indicator of labour relations stability.
