This table reports average monthly expenditure among Singapore resident households in the 2012/13 Household Expenditure Survey. Spending is organised by household living arrangement and monthly income bands ranging from below $1,000 to $20,000 and over, with an overall total for comparison. The figures exclude imputed rent for owner-occupied homes and can support analysis of household consumption, living arrangements and spending differences across income groups.
